How old does my child have to be, to be able to attend nursery?
We accommodate children aged from six weeks to five years

What hours does the nursery open
Our nursery opens Monday - Friday 8.00am - 6.00pm. We provide an all year round service, closing on bank holidays.
Session times - morning 8.00am - 1.00pm. afternoon 1.00pm - 6.00pm.

How will I know what my child is doing in the nursery?
We have an open door policy, so you can call in at any time and catch up with what your child is doing. Babies are given daily diaries, which are filled in each day to let parents know what they have done throughout the day.

What do I need to bring with my child?
For babies: nappies, wipes, spare clothes and formula milk (in cartons or an unopened tin)
For toddlers: nappies, wipes and spare clothes
For pre-school: spare clothes (if needed).

What if my child is on breast milk?
You are welcome to bring expressed milk into the nursery in bottles clearly labelled with your child's name. This will be given to your child at the time you state and we will record how much your child has taken.

Can we come and have a look around?
Yes, indeed, we will be happy to show you around. We strongly recommend you arrange a visit to come and meet us, when both you and your baby can get a feel for the nursery.

What will happen during settling-in periods?
We recognise that children need time to establish their confidence in a new situation. The way our practitioners work with parents to settle a child into the nursery is of great importance. Frequent pre-visits are recommended and we do not charge a fee for these. You are encouraged to stay with your child for the first visit, and then gradually reduce the time that you stay.
