The safety of children attending our nursery facility is paramount and we will do all we can to ensure their well being whilst they are in our care.
We have a number of safety strategies in place and ask that all parents make themselves aware of these. These strategies include:
Nursery Security
- The nursery has a door fob system to prevent unauthorised people from entering.
- All visitors are required to sign in the visitor's book.
- No visitor will be left unattended.
- To protect your children's safety our nursery is covered by CCTV monitoring.
Personal Property
- All items of clothing and personal property should be clearly marked.
- All children should have at least one change of clothing.
- The nursery cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property, however caused.
Emergency Contacts
- It is essential that the nursery can contact a parent/carer or alternative emergency contact at all time.
- Any changes in the contact details must be passed in to the nursery before the child attends.
Passwords
We ask that you specify a password for your child. In the event of an emergency and someone else needs to collect your child, we will request this password before allowing any discussion regarding your child to commence, or your child to leave the premises with them.
